Kassidy King is just your typical teenage girl, right? Well, she certainly thought she was. One day she witnesses an inexplicable life altering tragedy. This horrible experience leaves her with a new power, a special ability of sorts. Perhaps she has always had it and it had just lain dormant. Either way, she doesn’t understand the meaning behind it. Is it a blessing? Is it a curse? The only thing she is sure of is since the tragedy, she is left completely alone, new powers or not. Nearly everyone she has ever cared about or ever known, died in the event.
 
Now, someone or something is after her. Is she pursued because of what she witnessed in the woods, or is she being chased because of the power she now wields? This is where her quest for truth and answers begins. It is up to you to decide if she is still a typical teenage girl.
